SellerScope (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a Chrome extension and web application that helps Amazon FBA sellers calculate profitability and plan inventory reorders. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.
By using SellerScope, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Data We Collect
Account & Authentication
When you create an account, we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and name from Google’s OAuth service solely to identify your account. We do not store your Google password or access your Google account beyond authentication.
Amazon Page Data (read locally)
The SellerScope Chrome extension reads data from Amazon product pages and Seller Central inventory pages you visit — including product title, ASIN, listed price, FBA fees, package dimensions, and inventory quantities. This data is read from the page on your device and is used solely to populate the calculator. Amazon page data is never transmitted to our servers. It stays on your device.
Calculator Inputs
Inputs you enter into the profitability calculator and reorder planner — such as cost of goods, shipping rate, sales velocity, and lead times — are held in memory locally while you use the extension. They are not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Payment Information
Payments are processed by Stripe. SellerScope never sees, stores, or has access to your credit card number or banking details. Stripe provides us with subscription status (active, canceled, etc.) and a customer identifier only.
Usage & Technical Data
We collect basic server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited on sellerscope.xyz) for security and debugging purposes. We do not use third-party analytics trackers.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you and maintain your session
- To provide access to the calculator and reorder tools
- To manage your subscription and grant access to paid features
- To respond to support requests
- To detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive use
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising. We do not share your data with third parties except where required to operate the service (authentication, payment processing, hosting) or as required by law.
3. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will permanently remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. payment records required for tax compliance).

4. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: HTTPS for all data in transit, row-level security policies in our database (only you can read your own data), and Stripe’s PCI-compliant infrastructure for payments. Authentication tokens are stored in your browser’s local extension storage, which is isolated to SellerScope.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify users by email. Continued use of SellerScope after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
